Innovations
I have been innovating hybrid trumpets since 1996 such as the “Drumpet” to expand the ability to play the trumpet rhythmically like a drum and the Naga Phoenix slide trumpet to play microtonal music - (the sounds between the piano keys) inspired by my work with South Indian Music.

Hearing and Seeing are intermeshed in the visualizations of my interdisciplinary and intercultural musical imagination.
My drawings are filled with dots, vectors and geometries, and bold colored paintings that exude the sensuality and exuberance of the global musical genres that continue to delight me.
